It is that time of the week again and with the weekend just a few hours away we have an exciting array of rugby for you at Paton Field.
The First XV will be looking to put the last few weeks behind them as they take on Darlington Mowden Park at home with no fresh injury worries after last weekend’s defeat to Old Elthamians. They will be looking to pile more pressure on the side from the North East who have had an up and down season so far, winning six and losing seven of their 13 games which may be part of a transition period after finishing runners up to Coventry last term.
The first XV will be looking for a big vocal support putting the results of the last month behind them and the boys are hoping for the famous roar from the bank to give them an extra lift, and if the games from last season are anything to go by it should be an epic encounter.
The second XV missed out on a league game last week as Sale were unable to send a team. They travel to Fylde Hawks on Saturday looking to maintain their place at the top of the league with just three games remaining before the league splits in mid-January with Chester being Caldy’s only real challengers.
