The weekend is almost upon us once again and for many of us this Friday signals the last working day of the year and we have a weekend full of festivities ahead for you at Paton Field, our first XV taking on Sale FC. The game signals the start of the second half of the season and despite only two wins since the beginning of November the Ravers sit in 7th place on 41 points. Sale find themselves just a point above the relegation zone, and with them having a number of Sale Sharks academy players in their squad it could be an opportunity to scout out some stars of the future.

To avoid congestion at the gate please have your Season Ticket or £10 entrance fee ready on arrival. Thank You 

Pre Match

A reminder for those who are dining, to aid our hard working catering staff serve more than 170 lunch guests, we ask that you arrive at the club by 11.30am so we can be seated at 12noon in the Marquee. Don’t forget your Christmas Jumper’s to make things that extra festive.

Before the match there will be the usual festivities including Guess the Score, and also a Charity Auction and Raffle in aid of the RFU injured players foundation with prizes including an England Shirt signed by Eddie Jones, a Race-car Day Experience and an England National Anthem Jacket.

There will also be an opportunity to sponsor Caldy Player Andrew ‘Sooty’ Soutar who is taking on the challenge of the Marathon in London, Liverpool and Chester in aid of the foundation. You can find out more about the challenge by following the link below.

Also a reminder that after the action has finished on the pitch everyone is invited to the Caldy Christmas Party in the marquee with a DJ. Everyone is welcome Members and Guests from 6pm.

Junior Colts

The Junior Colts are the only other team in action this weekend with a home match against Ellesmere Port with the Kick Off at 12.30 pmand the club will be open before and after the match for those who would like a Christmas drink on the final Sunday before the big day.

The bar will be open from 12 noon to 3pm for drinks only - there will only be food for the players.

Boxing Day Charity Match at Paton Field

To blow away those Christmas Blues please join us on Boxing Day for what is our annual Charity Match between Caldy Old Boys and a Caldy U25 side with all proceeds going to Charity for fallen friends. Please look at the website or if you are receiving this by e-mail please find poster attached.
