This is the last weekend of the season for the first and second teams and it is the latter that opens the action this weekend with their last game of an exceptional season against Preston Grasshoppers at New Brighton RUFC. Kick off at Reeds Lane is 8pm tonight.

The attention then turns to the first team who travel to Birmingham Moseley looking for the victory that will see them survive at Level 3 for another year.

Confidence is high in the team after two victories against Darlington Mowden Park away and Rosslyn Park at home and allowed the Ravers to have safety in their own hands and will want to get the job done and not have to rely on local rivals Sale FC to give them a helping hand by beating Cambridge at Heywood Road.

Birmingham need a point to be safe and beat Cambridge at Granchester Road by a single point last weekend. A big support is expected from Paton Field. If you are planning to attend the match tomorrow and make your own way to Birmingham the address for Birmingham Moseley is Billesley Common, Yardley Wood Rd, Birmingham B13 0PT.

Return Rail tickets to Birmingham New Street from Liverpool Lime Street is an average of £38 (price correct as of 4pm Thursday - Virgin Trains App).

On Sunday, second team head coach Andrew Soutar will be running in the Virgin London Marathon in aid of the RFU Injured Players Fund who work with players with brain and spinal injuries. If you would like to find out more about the charity or sponsor Andrew please follow the Link below.
