This weekend Caldy face Cinderford in the second of back to back home matches. The team were disappointed to lose their 100% home record against Blackheath last weekend but the team are ready to show that was just a blip in what otherwise has been an exceptional start to the season sitting in sixth after the defeat against the London side only three points off the league lead.

After suffering bruising to his head Derek Salisbury has been passed fit to play against Cinderford in what is the Gloucestershire side's first ever visit to Paton Field and we are sure to give them our usual very warm welcome.

With just a reminder to everyone that this week's game kicks off an hour earlier at 2 p.m. due to the clocks going back.

The second team are also in good spirits after a fantastic home win against league leaders Chester 41-22 and replacing them at the top of the league. This week they travel to face Lymm 2nd team who are 4th in the league 10 points behind Caldy.
