The weekend is upon us once again and we have another exciting weekend of rugby ahead at Paton Field with a mammouth double header on Saturday with the first and second team in action and with the Guinness Six Nations being shown in the bar we have it all covered at Caldy.

The first team will be looking for their first win in 6 games as they face Cambridge, with last weekend’s game at Ampthill called off due to the weather (rescheduled for Feb 23rd) the lads will be fully ready to go against another of their relegation rivals who won the last time they visited Paton Field in the early part of last season.

A win would see Caldy move above their visitors and put some much needed breathing space between themselves and the bottom three as the season moves into the final third and with this being the only home game for four weeks it is a great opportunity to support Gareth, Simon, Matt and the boys as they strive to stay in National 1 for another year.

After last weeks washout against Preston Grasshoppers the second team open the second half of their season against Fylde Hawks and with a reduced number of games in the second half of the season it is a good opportunity to see some of the stars of the future.
