This weekend Caldy host Ampthill in their latest home match kicking off at 3 p.m. this Saturday at Paton Field. Caldy will be looking to bounce back from last week's defeat to Plymouth Albion missing out on a losing bonus point with the last kick of the game. They have no fresh injury worries going into the game this weekend.
Ampthill are currently in tenth place in National 1 after three wins and three defeats in their opening six games of the season, losing last week at home against Cambridge but due to the openness of the season so far, Ampthill are only three points behind joint second Caldy. Ampthill have a number of players in their squad who are duel-contracted with Premiership Club Saracens including promising prop Ralph Adams-Hale who has previous experience in the championship with London Scottish as well as former Tongan International Aleki Lutui who is still playing at the age of 40.
The second team are back in league action also playing at home against Fylde Hawks with a kick off at 1 p.m. on the second team pitch, in a match that pits third versus second in the league, both teams are on 20 points, three points behind leaders Chester.
